Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh met members of the Maram Women’s Union at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Monday.
During the meeting, the Union submitted representations seeking the construction of a market shed at Willong Khullen village in Senapati district and the provision of an office vehicle to support its activities.
The representatives highlighted the importance of addressing these requests at an early stage to strengthen local livelihoods, facilitate field visits and support developmental activities in remote areas.
The demands are aimed at improving the Union’s ability to carry out its work and support communities in the region.
