📮 Postal authorities have suspended surface mail services on the Imphal–Dimapur, Imphal–Mao (NH-2) and Imphal–Ukhrul (NH-202) routes with immediate effect until further orders. The decision follows the reported burning of 37 mailbags near Sangkhai on the Imphal–Ukhrul road. According to reports, the destroyed mailbags contained parcels, Speed Post articles, registered mail, passports, ATM cards, educational certificates, clothing and other important documents.
