Under the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026, the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Cell, under the supervision of the District Administration, Kakching, organised Aangan Ka Utsav at Kakching Wairi Kamala Pareng A Anganwadi Centre and Kakching Part III Awang Anganwadi Centre.
At Kakching Wairi Kamala Pareng A Anganwadi Centre, 21 participants, along with officials and Anganwadi workers, attended the programme. Activities included serving Hot Cooked Meals (HCM) to children, demonstrations of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) activities, and handwashing and hygiene checks.
At Kakching Part III Awang Anganwadi Centre, 27 participants joined the programme along with officials and Anganwadi workers. Hot cooked meals were served to children, while ECCE activities were demonstrated through a play-way method.
Meanwhile, the Zonal Education Office, Kakching, under the supervision of the District Administration, organised district-level painting, essay writing and elocution competitions as part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026.
The two-day competitions, held on October 5 and 6, saw participation from more than 160 students from schools across Kakching district.
