Representatives of Pollivon Private Limited met former Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh and held a joint interaction with youths from his constituency on initiatives aimed at supporting economic revival.
The interaction focused on smart farming solutions, particularly processing and production of Kanglayen and mushrooms.
Biren Singh appreciated the efforts toward promoting agricultural solutions and highlighted their potential to support farmers’ incomes, preserve traditional cuisine and contribute to the State’s agricultural economy.
According to the statement, some youths from his Assembly Constituency are expected to take up organic Kanglayen and mushroom processing and production.
Pollivon Private Limited is a Manipur-based agriculture startup working on farm mechanisation and agricultural innovations. It has also been listed under the MANAGE Centre for Innovation and Agripreneurship (MANAGE-CIA).
